New collecting of ammonites and inoceramid bivalves from Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary sections exposed al Sopelana Zumaya, Spain, Hendaye Bidart (Biarritz), France, has led to better understanding molluscan biostratigraphy in each these coastal exposures. Ali can be lithologically correlated. At all the sections, have now been found within last meter Cretaceous. Also, disappear near base A . mayaronensis planktonic foram zone, only exception being small, enigmatic bivalve genus Tenuipteria , which ranges up boundary.
